it's the eternal battle between free and recouping the costs for professional art (even computer games). There is a huge gulf between someone dilettanting 5 hours a week on something, and someone who engages fulltime on a project. Those wages have to be paid.

I remember many years ago when I was studying for my BA in German that we had a debate about computer translation programs and the received wisdom at the time was that it would never happen - our skills as linguists would be safe - because a computer program would never be able to translate the nuances, regional variations, proverbial idiomatic expressions or 'hidden meanings' of language.

I think you're interpreting this in too narrow of a topic. Women in WoW. Awesome. However, what about studying women producers and what they bring/take away from games? Types of games they tend to produce? What to produce? Design aspects of "feminine" games. Famous female gaming characters, i.e. Laura Croft and her crossover appeal into mainstream versus Metroid, who's main character is a soldier in a full suit of armor, so has no movie about her and most people don't know who she is though the title is a classic? How games are marketed for women versus men? Types of games women usually choose to play (puzzle solvers, quick one shot plays) versus men?
I think you have a far wider net to cast with this topic than you do with women in rock.

Things that John likes to play with: Playdough; cars; small toy animals (like the plastic/rubber kind that you find in bins in the toy section of target); balls of all kinds; games like Mr. Mouth & Hungry Hungry Hippo; Magna-tiles (and he isn't much of a lego builder, but he loves these). Of course, once the weather is nicer, you will have a lot more options...John is completely entertained outside with sticks, rocks or at a playground, or just discovering and exploring...hope that helps and that you are having fun with the kiddo!!

Beside that I also have a question about crysis 2.
the single player mode tell a story about a special soldier and u play as a character name Prophet.because of that I dont want to play the single player campaign.

Is it ok if I just play the multiplayer part of the game where u play as urself with ur own name (without the storyline) and not the single player mode which has the story.
