if you download custom objects then extract the files all within the downloads folder which you will have to make yourself under My Documents/EA Games/Sims 2 and the items still dont work then they are not compatible with you expansion packs, also when the screen appears after the loading screen is complete make sure you click "enable custom objects" so that your game doesnt refuse downloads

Yeah, I don't think the Sims 3 sims look anymore realistic than the Sims 2. I guess you would have to get used to them during gameplay? So far, the only good thing I have heard about it is the interactable neighbourhood.
They CLAIM they've taken the best features from Sims 1 and Sims 2, but exactly have they taken???
That said, I'm anxious to play it. I would like to see if I could love it as much as Sims 2.

Please advise me if playing pool outside has any additional advantages to playing indoors next to the fact that you don't have to keep a room for the pool table. Is it tough to keep the pool table in good quality condition?

outdoor pool tables and wonder if this would be the solution.
I see this is a fantastic place with remarkable members so what I am asking is if any of you had decent experiences with an outdoor pool table. Please advise me if playing pool outside has any additional advantages to playing indoors next to the fact that you don't have to keep a room for the pool table. Is it tough to keep the pool table in good quality condition?

But I see - I have a pool (billiards) table that came with the house that I bought. A boston style - full oak - beautiful table in my fully finished lofted attic - that I don't use. I don't play pool - and it would be cool to have people to shoot pool with - but nope.
