    To answer your questions, where I live there is an indoor pool that is set up just for lessons, year-round. Babies can start at 5 months, but we started around 7 or 8. It's really fun, and I like having something to do that involves the whole family once per week. I also think it's good for safety reasons, and it gives them a head start in case they want to do swimming as a sport. Where we are, it's called Swim America.

    In connection with your portraiture workshop and plans, and the Canon lenses, are you familiar with Kirk Tuck's blog.     My wife and I purchased a home 8 months ago. We had looked at cities first then neighborhoods.We would drive into the areas in the evening and on weekends to get a true feel of the area.
    After finding the right neighborhood with the amenities we wanted we then checked with reality trac. We looked at short sale homes (preforclosure) which were priced much lower than existing homes. We then bid -10% off the short sale price.
    We ended up with a 3yr old 3800sq ft 4car gar , poolspa 1/3 ac for 500.
    Just remember it IS ALL about location.(shopping, close to work, church,family, affordability,
    schools, gated?, outlaying areas)they all have an impact. gl

    Thanks for your comment, Keith! Yes, I was at the IIDEX show and it seems that it's all about LED lighting for home decor and interior design. It's really such a great new way to light your home indoors and out -- and it seems to last forever! There are so many great manufacturers to choose from too! I'll be sure to post some snaps from the show and tell you more about it!

    Cool description! Didn't make it to the Mayakoba, but had a great experience at the Mandarin Oriental Spa when I was there. Even getting just one treatment, we were able to make almost a day of it- a quick pre-spa workout in the gym, using the "heat experiences" that come along with a spa treatment (steam, pools, etc) and lounging by the outdoor spa pool. I also found the service to be great- delivered my husband and I delicious smoothies, that our waiter customized for us by our explanations of what we were in the mood for (very sweet, types of fruit, etc). Lunch food was light and good.

    The recipe sounds great and many thanks. We are in the sad position of needing to dispatch 6 guinea fowl that we have been rearing for 6 months. We have built them a lovely coop with antique lead light windows and a front porch very close to our outdoor spa. And that is the problem - close to the spa. they are very loud and we have a spa oriented Bed and Breakfast inb Nelson, New Zealand. The gujinea fowl are just too loud for the tranqauil environment that we are promoting. We have 6 lovely hens arriving in December so have a few months before we need the space.

    The question is what is the best time to dispatch these birds. We are feeding them on corn and barley at this time to make them very tasty.
