7. There's a man on 43rd street in Manhattan, a block away from grand central station. Every day this guy sets up a table, and puts out cardboard boxes full of unopened plastic packages. Future Cardboard Gods, I guess you could call them. This block isn't particularly tourist-filled, as they'd run towards the 'I Heart NYC' stores or be too busy glancing up to see the Chrysler building tower over Grand Central to notice a simple folding table cluttered with boxes and boxes of cards.
It's the office guys who stop. It's hard not to, when an unopened silver package of 15 cards has Ken Griffey Jr. on it's cover with '$3.50 or 2/$5' scribbled on it in black marker glisten shines up at you.
That guy is a priest. And that folding table is an alter for the Cardboard Gods. =)

I love the bridge. I have a couple of tracks to nowhere on my layout but I always figured that I would add a module at some point in the distant future to add that point to point dimension.
I am looking at the folding table and the wood that you have under the foam. Seems a little unstable looking. Have you considered building more sturdy benchwork up to 4 ft off the floor? It is not too late for that, the lumber wouldn't cost that much, and a great layout begins with a solid foundation. I started with my layout on a folding table and was not happy. I am not building any more until I get the benchwork done they way I want.

of all the domestic duties i dislike, i really have never minded laundry. what i despised was going up and down two flights of stairs several times a day to get it completed. now that, i hated. so a priority in the new house was to have laundry at least on the main level, if not the same as master - i got both! and a new pair of front-loading maytags to boot. all i'm lacking now is a good folding table... but i don't mind laundry day at all! i think it has always been because it is a simple task which has a beginning, middle and an end -- i get a sense of accomplishment. duh. all that to talk about laundry... have a fabulous weekend!

FREE - AS IS - FREE - AS IS - FREE - AS IS This is made out of very thick plastic for the top and metal legs that fold up so it can be stored. It is about 29 inches tall (when unfolded), 23 1/2 inches wide and 41 1/4 inches long. When it is folded up it is about 2 inches thick. I am getting rid of it because I got a new one that is metal. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW It has some warping on the top due to putting some hot things on it - the warping is not bad but you can feel it when you put your hand on it. It also had some metal sheets put on top which left some stains (see pictures). The legs fold out and fold back well and it is really pretty sturdy. *********** NOTE - PLEASE READ ************** You must pick it up - I can't deliver it. Please measure your vehicle to make sure it fits in. I may not be able to help you load it on your vehicle.
