Gorgeous photo! why do you think they go to all this trouble? I'm guessing it is because people's homes are smaller on the whole so people go out to use these kinds of facilities with their friends? Not like us in Oz with our swimming pools, our own pool tables, our own theatre rooms (well none of the above at my place, but I know some of these things are becoming more normal).. So beautiful though.

Im level 13 and i think the quickest way to level up and serve customers is:
to stay open for as long as possible (24hr shifts are good)
to have all tables and chairs around the cookers so it will make a square and smaller space for the waiters to travel. (kitchen against one wall and have the as one side of the square facing inwards and the chairs and tables as the other three sides.
Hire a barman, then the waiters are only serving food which means they are serving quicker.
Have one cleaner maximum, I have one to clean up toilets as I am not constantly online and dirty toilets are able to be used which means one less customer and less money.
Upgrade your dishes asap
Have game machines to earn extra money
Spend money on making your restuarant able to serve customers easily and then save up your money for ingreediants and those expensive items.
Obviously Im only level 13 but I'm leveling up alot quicker by following these tips and I hope they help you level up faster too, the tip about the square of tables and chairs around the cooker is a good idea and ive seen the benifits since trying this and so have many others. rosie: We got the expensive sofa in the end, I think its a good investment since we'll be sitting on it for years.. I'm looking at ways to increase seating in a small place, perhaps some stools that can double as coffee tables or even ottomans seem quite space saving and can double as a table..

I've never had a monster cable myself, but if a blind listening test performed by audiophiles shows no difference in sound quality (and that's the prime excuse for being overpriced) - it truly makes you reevaluate all equipment you own.
BTW, is lifetime warranty available only in certain countries or worldwide?
I'm from Ukraine and warranties kinda suck round here...

as i read this, i was eating dinner at my laptop. (yeah i know, dinner at 1 in the morning is super late. it's the schedule of a server.) i have 6 other girls in my house and two dining room tables. i think i've eaten at them three or four times this entire year.
maybe i'll try to get the roomies together before we move out to have 'family' time around the dinner table.

In fact, shortly after I wrote this post, the owner of the cafe came over to chat with the hipster dudes (who are regulars there too) and they were talking about how most of the "new" folks who recently moved to HP came from Silverlake, which seems to be hipster central. I thought it was interesting. After the hipster dudes left, the cafe population shifted back to brown. Guess I should plan to arrive after 3!
p.s. I do prefer square tables! There's more room to put your stuff than those little french cafe circular ones.
