That resveratrol must be some magic bullet if it more than makes up for the French people's high saturated fat diet and high rates of smoking. Or just maybe it isn't a paradox at all, and saturated fat is not bad, but the sugar, grains, and carbs Americans gorge themselves on are the culprit. Hmm...
